Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:




  • Assists the Maintenance Manager in schedule daily work, setting priorities, coordinate materials needed for jobs, ensure Maintenance Department equipment and tools are in safe and good working order.

  • Together with the Maintenance Manager and Master Mechanic, sets policy and direction for the Maintenance Department.

  • Assist in all aspects of the maintenance management system (E-maint), which includes Work Order Management and Spare Parts Management.

  • Work with Maintenance Facilities Supervisor to develop reporting to monitor workloads and timeliness.

  • Assists the Maintenance Manager with personnel assignments.

  • Maintains employee scheduling and job costing in the time collection system (Time Force)

  • Ensure equipment is maintained to safe and proper operating conditions.

  • Assist Engineering to design and/or specify equipment as requested.

  • Respond promptly to down equipment to ensure it is repaired in a safe and timely manner.

  • Assists in training Maintenance Department personnel.

  • Performs work in accordance with Company safety rules and regulations.

  • Assist or provide assistance as necessary with Month end inventory count and audit.

  • Assist in annual reviews of maintenance department personnel.

Education and Experience




  • ?High School graduate or GED plus 4 years of experience in the maintenance field..


Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities




  • Working knowledge of mechanical equipment repair, working knowledge of electricity, working knowledge of safety procedures.

  • Skilled in use of tools and equipment utilized in the repair, modification, and installation of equipment.

  • Basic computer skills required for Company mandated computer programs.

  • Ability to work with other employees, ability to make quick and efficient decisions, ability to follow written and verbal communication, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ability to work in situations of considerable mental stress and physical demands.

  • Must be generally available and respond to emergency ?call-outs? at any time.

  • Must possess a valid Oregon Drivers License.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
